Mr. Brian Maciak
Owner/Director
Mr. Brian Maciak holds a BA in dance from the University at Buffalo, where he graduated cum laude. He has extensive experience teaching and performing from coast to coast. He has been nominated for 17 Industry Dance Awards between 2019-2022.
Most recently, Mr. Brian worked with Nick Cannon and friends for Cannon's hit show "Wild & Out." He has also worked as a convention instructor for Dance Masters of America and Dance Rochester, in addition to other convention circuits. He was part of the Zodiaque Dance Company for 3 years, as well as choreographed for the ensemble company. He was part of the American College Dance Festival, World AIDS Day, and the National Dance Educators Organization. After college, Brian worked for Stiletto Entertainment in Los Angeles, as well as Holland America Cruise Lines. He has worked with many industry professionals from shows such as 42nd Street, the national tour of Hairspray, The Rockettes, the national tour of Oklahoma, the national tour of Oklahoma, the national tour of The Wedding Singer, many jazz companies, ballet companies, and much more.
Mr. Brian would like to especially thank Miss Tammy Ellis Johnson, Mr. Bill Thomas, Mr. Tom Ralabate, and his family for helping to make his life a passionate success in dance. Thank you for all of your love and support!
Miss Ashlee Woollis
Assistant Director
Miss Ashlee Woollis has been a part of The Fuse Dance Center since its inception in 2007. Dancing since age 3, Ashlee has had extensive training in various styles of dance. Ashlee began teaching at the age of 16 under the direction of Miss Tammy Ellis of A Class Act School of Dance, formerly of Sidney, NY, where she spent most of her childhood training.
After graduating with a degree in geological and environmental sciences, Ashlee came to the conclusion that dance was meant to continue to be her future. Ashlee has trained dancers of all ages, primarily focusing on our petite, mini and junior competitive teams. Recently, she has also taken on our preschool program as well as a beginner class in an effort to continue growing our programs into the future. Ashlee also takes our competitive team costumes and turns them into customized works of art through embellishment and custom hair pieces.

Ashlynn Payne (Ithaca, New York) began her dance training with the Centennial State Ballet in Longmont, Colorado. After moving to upstate New York, she continued her training under Brian Maciak at The Fuse Dance Center. Throughout her high school career, Ashlynn won numerous performance awards across the Northeast. She graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Montclair State University. She has had the pleasure of working with Jessica DiMauro Marks, Daniel Padierna, Nancy Lushington, Robert Mark Burke, Christian von Howard, Stefanie Batten Bland, and Jennifer Archibald. Postgrad Ashlynn has been expanding her choreographic endeavors. Most recently she has won numerous choreography awards both regionally and nationally.
